Good deal for an average computer. If you're not going to be doing anything too heavy - browsing, word editing, etc - then this should be great for you. I plan to do a little gaming on here (I'm not a heavy gamer and don't play the latest and greatest). Anyways, in for 1. Besides, I love ordering from Staples as they deliver incredibly fast to me. Typically 1 business day for me. Crossing my fingers that it comes tomorrow.

Also, you probably couldn't build the machine yourself at this price point - unless you could get a free copy of Windows 7.

Furthermore, there are a TON of new processors coming out right now so I think there will be a lot of PC deals to be had in the next couple months. For reference reading, AMD's Trinity just launched, and Intel's Ivy Bridge. While those might not launch at this price point, it'll drive old machines lower.

but it's only $300. it's hard to find a desktop lower than $300 delivered, even outdated processor.

Agreed. Best deal I've seen over the last month is a refurbished Dell at their outlet site - it is $270. Compared to this, that's a POS. I wasn't really looking before that so can't say more.

not that bad. the A6 is compatible to i3-2120 duo core 2.3GHz.

good enough for everyday use. and it's only $300. worry about outdated soon, you can sell it 1 or 2 year later for $200.
