Staples Rewards problems

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone else ran into what I did yesterday. I was looking over my rewards account and noticed that 40.00 of my ink recycling said that had been used online may 1st. Well first off I made a purchase on April 27 but didnt use the rewards for the purchase. So I called and asked why they used my rewards but was informed that they didnt use them on the transaction. Long story short they transferred me to rewards department. And was notified that someone else used the rewards and that they were aware of some problems. Quote from the CSR "some interprising people found out a way to generate the codes that we generate"

Just want to give everyone a heads up to keep check on there rewards account. Good thing about it she gave me 80 in rewards that dont expire until sept. and gave me a new rewards account number.
