Doesn't like the Trend Micro Anti Spam and hates the Norton Anti Spam.
So he is trying to use rules in Outlook 2002 to filter anything that is NOT in his contacts to be sent to the delete folder.
This rule works. So that is good.
But when we add a new employee, that email addy will be sent to the trash folder as well...untill he adds them to his contacts.
So its not just email from our own domain, but also from our two main customers that needs to stay in his in box rather than be sent to the trash.
So he tried to enter "*@customerdomain1.com" and "*@customerdomain2.com"
using the wild card * in the persons email name.
This is not working.
Any idea on the client side to do this??
We are NOT an Exhcange shop.
Q2: Can we use Active Directory to push out our internal new email addy's to the clients on our network???
Or is that still a Manual Add on each Client.
Q3: If we could run Exhchange, could we acheive any of the above with it?

It has the capability you are looking for:
"Use a wildcard to enter anyone, say for example, all emails from the same company as your friend. eg. *@mailwasher.net would let anyone from MailWasher.net be entered as your friend, and ????@mailwasher.net would let anyone with a four letter name who works at MailWasher be entered as your friend"
