8GB Barnes & Noble 7" NOOK Wi-Fi Tablet (Brand NEW) $149 + Free Shipping! (eBay Daily Deal)

Can anyone recommend a case for this Nook? Preferably under $30 since the NC is for $150.

I have $270 worth of B&N gift cards and I intend to use for the 8GB NC Tablet, and then I see this that B&N is selling them on eBay for $50 less....kinda irks me that I can't use my GC to buy it on eBay. I don't want to spend an extra $50 (+tax) to get it but what would I do with my GCs that I have been saving for the Tablet? Maybe just wait a little more until BN.com drops the price to $150? I wonder if I can buy this and go in-store to tell them that I wanted to use my GC instead of CC (return and rebuy), will they allow that?

i brought this one on amazon a while back, it was very worth it with the combo.

Also picked up root sd card kit too saved a lot of time. just search nook tablet rooted sd card

Stick with B & N ones. They have unobtrusive 3 point mounts that third party covers don't have. Just go to their site and find a style and color you like. Some are within the specified price.

Today you can get double ebay bucks on this! eBay always does this to me!

I second this, get the 3 point mounts. They are securely fitted as opposed to these cheap strap ones. When your Nook Tablet falls out of it, you will regret being cheap on the case.

I bought one for $25 at a B&N store. They have a few to choose from.

This is a great price for the NT. How much better is the Galaxy Tab 7 (8gb)? Is it worth the extra $100 in your opinions?

Just bought one as an upgrade to my nook color! I love my CM7 color, but extra speed never hurt anyone!

Just to add some more info: if you really want the 16Gb version, it is now available at Fry's for 180$ (refurb but with full warranty) plus shipping or free pick-up.
For me it was 6$ shipping which is more or less similar with the taxes for the 8Gb version.
So the decision is 30$ more for the extra RAM and the extra space worth it or not?
