any deals for cedar point 2012

Not seeing anything better than the $32 with resort stay. Post back here if you find anything! Cedar Point is on my bucket list ...to go as an adult. Haven't been there since adolescence.

Staying at Breakers Express and getting the reduced ticket prices when you check in is the best bet. They'll sell you a Ride and Slide ticket at a reduced price. You can call the hotel directly to see how much that is. Getting in an hour early is huge.

To save more money, there is a grocery store next to the movie theater in town. Buy a styrophome cooler in the beer isle, bananas, OJ, beer, soda. That will save you money on breakfast each morning because Breakers Express doesn't have it for free. They have a Krispy Creme stand near the lobby.

If you're taking kids then you can look into staying at Castaway Bay if you want the water park.

Thanks. I ended up finding a promo code "RETURN" to use on my hotel reservation. Depending on the room you get, the rates varied from 69.99 (Breakers xpress) and up. We ended taking a room at Hotel Breakers. We are gonna spend most of the time away from the room, so it didn't matter to us which room we got. We just liked the idea of walking to the park from the hotel. Again, thanks for the input.

Do you live far away from it?

I used to go all the time (live just outside of Toledo, about 50 minute drive) but just never seem to make time.
