yeah it is. I think old english d, is missing the point. It is a good deal. But it's hard to look at deals the same.

I got one of these several months ago from Walmart with a slightly more expensive deal. For the price, it's barely acceptable as our bedroom TV. The picture took a lot of settings adjustment to look decent, and no matter how I finagle it the sound is terrible. It's basically a computer speaker and has 0 richness to it. I've been keeping my eye out for a deal on cheap amplified computer speakers.

WRT "Cash cow", I am basically saying that, according to the classical marketing model, LED TVs have fairly stable prices and are real cash cows for the manufacturer. Just look at how fast other commodities lose in price. This trend is slower for TVs, which makes them "cash cows", i.e. fat profits, without so much research investment in new products.

I need a large LCD screen to display photos at conventions we sometimes go to. I was looking at a 24" Asus but this is pretty cheap...would this work with a VGA output from a netbook?

It does say that it has a VGA input so you should be fine.

My 46" I bought from Costco 3yrs ago still going strong. I want to try an Led TV.

I'm playing COD on this TV right now: It's very good for the price. The blacks are a little blotchy but that's my only complaint. The stand isn't THAT flimsy like I read in reviews. I just bought this for 200 a couple weeks ago.

I asked to speak to a supervisor when i called in to ask why mine was cancelled. They said insufficient stock was the reason, but now shows 'in stock' on the web. Manager then said it was a price mistake and cannot honor my order price and the best they could do was $25 giftcard for the mistake.

I read on here some people got %10 off the current price and one guy said they offered him the original order price! It all depends on the mood of the manager you get on the line and how much patience and persistance you have.....

is it possible for any other store to pricematch this?
