The free 32GB SSD is out. If you do see it when you placed your order they might give it to you free if you compliant about it.

rock99rock- For those that are coming back to complain about the missing 32GB drive missing from the order, see my chat log below. Apparently, the promotion expired but the offer still remained on the 240GB product page:

Paige: Hi, my name is Paige. How may I help you?

Rock: when i placed order xxxxxxxxx, the page for the OCZ 240GB SSD said it came with a free 32GB SSD
Rock: i did not receive that in my delivery
Paige: We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. May I please have a moment to look into this for you?
Rock: no problem! no inconvenience
Rock: just wanted to know the status of it
Paige: Thank you for holding. The promotion for the free gift was expired on 5/18 but our system did not remove it until 7:30, 5/18. We apologize that you would be unable to get it since your order is placed after 7:30, 5/18.
Rock: Thats a little misleading then dont you think?
Rock: that was one of the reasons I ordered the product in the first place, as it was advertised right on the product page like every other offer
Paige: We apologize. Considering this situation, we would like to issue a $20 credit as a compensation.
Rock: Thank you Paige, but that drive is $50
Paige: The $20 is the one time exception. We apologize for that inconvenience.
Paige: Since the promotion had expired when you placed the order, you would be unqualified for the gift.
Rock: Paige, this is classic bait and switch technique
Rock: I never thought newegg would stoop to this level
Rock: I know of hundreds of orders of this item, all of them will be expecting this 32GB drive to arrive with it
Paige: We sincerely apologize for that inconvenience. Since the OCZ Agility 3 is now listed $20 cheaper than during the promotion, we will not be able to honor the free gift.
Paige: The $20 credit is the only exception we can made on this situation. Would you like to accept it so I may further assist you?
Rock: This was a deal that made the front page of many deal sites, because it still included the 32GB drive. Are you saying that the hundreds of people that are expecting the drive will not be receiving it? That is a potential PR nightmare.
Paige: We sincerely apologize. After checking this again with my super visor. We would like to honor it as an one time exception. But it will be issued as Gift Card. You will receive a $50 Gift card. The card expire in 90 days. You can use it to your next order on newegg.com. Would you like to accept it?
