Menards [menards.com] have 11% off everything in store.

I got my 11% off rebate from last time they had this deal going without any problems, so its a good deal if you need anything they have Smilie

"THE MORE YOU BUY, THE MORE YOU SAVE! Offer Good Saturday, May 19 Through Monday, May 28, 2012. Open 7 AM Memorial Day. *Rebate is in form of merchandise credit check. Excludes gift cards, online purchases, delivery and handling charges, all rental items and extended service agreements. Limited to stock on hand. No rain checks. First come, first served. No prior sale price adjustments. Future sale adjustments will void the 11% rebate on the items adjusted. Rebate does not extend to the special ordering of any normally stocked items. Not good with any other coupons or offers except Menards® coupons, Menards® rebates and manufacturers coupons. Multiple receipts may accompany one rebate certificate. Not valid on prior purchases. Menards® reserves the right to limit purchases of any and all items to reasonable job lot quantities."

i think and that rebate is in form of store credit, so you have to use that rebate in their store as per every Menards rebate.

Good grief, people. It's an 11% off everything in the form of a store credit rebate. For anybody who shops there regularly that's almost the same as cash. Menards already has a price match system and pretty good prices to begin with and one of the better return policies you might have to deal with. Chill out. This is a good deal, TU.

Store credit to Menards is as good as cash to me. Since I bought my house I don't think I have gone more than two weeks without going to Menards. In my experience the prices are better than at HD or Lowes too. TU from me.

I have store credit to use - previous rebates. I can get the 11% no matter what method of payment is used, right?

Yes...I was there today. I bought ceramic tile for my bathroom with a rebate check....costing me $4 out of pocket. The new rebate is for my total puchase before rebate was applied.

I don't live very close to Menards so I only shop there a few times a year. The rebates don't expire. A few months ago I found a rebate check from 2009 and I used it with no questions.

NOT FAIL.. You get 11% back on your free after rebate items.. thus you are UP 11% and you get the free item. Not to mention the WHOLE STORE is 11% back by rebate (excluding a few items I am sure)

Yes. This works.

I bought 4000 bucks worth of stuff last go around with lots of other items that had rebates (including free after rebate) and I got over 650 bucks back.

I spent some of that 650 today and will get 11% back on that as well. I've been buying free after rebate items for years with rebate checks from the original 50 or so bucks I started with 4 years ago.

My hubby ran in yesterday and picked up a gift card for my father in law and the cashier gave him the rebate. I didnt see anywhere in the fine print where gift cards are excluded, though i only read through it quickly. So that was a nice surprise!

Man, tough room. This is 1% better than the postal coupons for Home Depot and Lowe's that everyone salivates over, plus with minimal effort you can get Home Depot or Lowe's to PM (with an instant discount) on any like item.

The last time I had a 10% coupon for HD I asked Lowe's to honor it and they did with no questions. If you had any significant purchase you wanted to make and told the manager you were going to make it at Menards because of the 11% rebate I can almost guarantee they'd match it.

Or you can just go to Menards, which is generally cheaper, and take the 11%. What, you own a home and you WONT be back at the home improvement store at least twice in the next month?

Personally, I'm building bookcases in my office. 11% off lumber is not bad at all, and I'll use the rebate for the next project.
