I tried to get the 79 dollar over the phone but they would not give me the HD for free. The representive said they could not find the deal anywhere and the HD cost 10 dollar more.!!! Is there any way you can help me get this deal? I am a new cutomer for att btw. |

this deal isn't all its written out to be. first, they charge $49 for service activation, you need to wait over 3 months to even get near that $250 promo card, the free HD in store is only good for 6 months and after that its $10 a month, the HD quality is inferior to Time Warner/Dish Network/Charter etc., canceling the contract will cause you to pay a cancellation fee near $200, the $80 plan is more like $98 a month after taxes/fees, if you are watching tv and trying to surf the web/game at the same time, be prepared for that 12.0mbs to be more like 5mbs and after your 6-12 month period is over, get ready to pay an arm and a leg. etc.etc.etc.
Time Warner Cable for the win. If you have problems paying too much or your promotions expire, just call customer service and ask for the retention department. They will work something out for you. Don't let some AT&T employee try to post some "too good to be true" bs and make sales. |

Not to defend AT&T. Time warner sucks as well. It does not have ESPN3 if you are an internet only customer. That is the main reason I am leaving Time Warner.

$200 cash back for the initial promotion. $100 cash back if you either have an att cell phone account with a "fan" discount $50 cash back for the starz/showtime rebates. So even if you don't have at&t cell phone, but work for a company that gets a discount with at&t, you can still get up to $350, although only in store. ![]() You would need verification though, as in Driver's License & one of the following: Business card/paystub/work badge. So in short, you could only get $250 ($275 with the EXTRAGIFT code) online, as opposed to $350 in-store. |

TWG1992 thanks for all your efforts to help out the consumer. If I was to go in this week what would I need to tell the AT&T employees at the store to get the last deal you just mentioned with the least amount of "oh we can't do that...., etc." kind of grief.
I PMed you about my wife signing up for an IPhone last week and are still waiting on the Company Discount she has through her work. I seem to always be the guy who catches the most grief on these deals...just want a good effective way to get what you say we can get! Thanks! |
