Great product using it for year, every year i get this for good price and never had any virus after using this.

As always, some people like McAfee, some like Norton, some like free ones,...
I have just have a question, hope someone can help,
If I buy it now and install it at the end of 2012, will I still have it updated for the whole year of 2013? Beside missing some new feature of the 2013 version, what is the disadvantages of this compare to the new version?

Dang beat me too it I bit too early and got just the AntiVirus Plus

@phil321.. it will give you 12 months from when you register... I have a problem now which I waited to register my new product key closer to my current expiration date. I entered it as soon as i got it and now I have two subscriptions that over lap 6 months... Mcafee online support just extend my current license or unregister the key.. i am fighting them on that one. meh

I just reread my post and I don't know what happened to my English. Not enough sleep or beer.. So I had wished I waited until my existing license ended before registering my new license. What happened to me was I had two licenses that overlapped by 6 months instead of just extending my existing one. I tried online chat support and they only would extend by 90 days and that is all they could do. I still had 3 months of overlap. I called in for support, during normal business hours, and they were able to give me the 12 months plus my existing license.
