hmm, i might get one for another htpc build that i don't need or a future freenas box. i have a rosewill pcie gigabit lan card lying around as well. dammit! incoming compulsive slickdeal purchase in 3, 2, 1...

I believe someone asked, but I haven't seen an answer. Will this play ~3-4GB 1080p files smoothly over a wired network despite it's 100mbps or should I get a gigabit card just in case?

While the overall review score is not horrible, 3 out of 4 of the last review scores are for 1 egg, the lowest possible rating.
Avoid this unless you have some PC tech skills and you don't mind: 1) a high possibility of one or more returns  2) $30 rebate If some slickdealers have had positive experiences with this board, feel free to post them. youtube.com/Super1NYC

for those who have purchased or are going to purchase...what CPU deals are you finding to pair with this board?
Might be a good time to upgrade my dual core AMD chip

"Cons: Arrived with onboard video DOA" Funny as the board dosen't have onboard video. I built one with a G530 and it works and runs great without issues and got my rebate to. For $15 its a steal for the price and I bought another to have on hand. |

Man I would buy this in a heartbeat if I needed one... But if I do build another system, it would have to be a better than the one I have now...And I cant justify putting anything better than a Pentium in this.
