As part of the national small business week celebration, staples is giving Scratch game cards to customers. These cards can reveal 15-50% off coupons that can be used in store. I got a 15% off in-store purchase coupon. Usual exclusions apply(doesn't work on computers, gift cards, tablets ....). It is limited to one per customer per day. These coupons are good between 06/01/12 -06/30/12.

Edit: The % discount is off of a single item( I am assuming it works on multiple items if they all have the same SKU just like the staples app coupons)

Edit: Attached picture of the scratch card game as proof
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

priority shipping is 3-4 days so two weeks left to shop, not 5 days Confused

$10,000 purchase for a hotel is nothin'. I was just using it as an example

who's to say $20-30,000 wouldn't be the total. That's the beauty of the ENTIRE coupon.

Besides, hotels, business can write-off the purchase price as a business expense so it's a win-win for them.

Think about it, you're a property manager and your task is to furnish 10 floors of an empty office building.

Suddenly 50% at staples for furniture and supplies sounds pretty good.

But yeah, isn't matching up the perfect seller with the perfect buyer the enigma all those internet entreprenures have been trying solve all these years?
How many 50% off entire purchase coupons have been sold on eBay? I'll give you a hint. ZERO. When zero have sold the price does not go up. Not only that, the price does indeed drop every day. Once we get into the last week in June, there will be a fire sale.

As for the 50% off single items, the price on those will remain semi steady till again the last week in June. Cameras being sold out is a huge hit for these retaining any kind of value.

As for the cards being "destroyed", I could also say that managers were told to make photocopies of 50% off's and pass them out in-store to anyone who buys a tub of pretzels. See what I did there. I made a statement on Slickdeals that must be true. Magical memos that the stores near me somehow have decided to "ignore". Hmmmmmmmmmm.

There are Staples employees in this thread. Anyone of them could post the memo they get on their registers about total destruction from mountain to shore scratchers. Till then, it's BS.

This Staples deal sounds cool. Sometimes when businesses are having a promotion, you have to ask. I have seen this happen in different situations. Or a sweepstakes will be nationally advertised, but when you get to the store - they do not seem to have a clue about it.

Thanks for the share!

Better buy and FLIP IMMEDIATELY.
Prices have been dropping on the T3i for a long time at various retailers such as Sears and Amazon for the past 3 months.
The current Canon promo pricing for the T3i and 60D ends on June 30. That makes me suspect that the prices may drop across the board on or around July 1.

Come on. You're a veteran here and know better than that. I'm sure Staples employees can't wait to post proprietary internal company documents to a website just so that nikecmh has "proof" that what they say is true. And who said anything about on the registers? These were the instructions provided to the stores when the coupons were shipped to them. If there is one constant with Staples it's that each store makes up their own rules. Some stores may have followed policy and destroyed them, some may still have them lying around. You seem to be in a fortunate area where a few of the stores still have them. Bravo. Of the 10+ stores in my area only 1 still has the coupons, and they are behind the register and you need to ask for them.

Many people have mentioned they were told to destroy the coupons after the promotion. I was told this by a manager I know very well and respect a great deal. He would have NO reason to lie to me. But maybe you're right and all the Staples managers got together and said, "hey, if any slickdealer asks for a coupon just tell them they were all destroyed..hehe"

Just because your small sample size doesn't fit with the rule doesn't make the rule false.

I think he should bang his head on the wall. apparently, he thinks the whole world is a conspiracy. He has not contributed to this thread other than insisting people that it should not work and that would work without actually having a solid proof while accusing others that they're doing things wrong while clearly they showed some proof and reasoning. I believe in liberty and you can choose to believe whatever you want but it seems like you are doing more than that. just like the christian with brochures on the street, or mormon, or scientology. he said he was in the staples business for 5 years and that he did clearly made him lost his credibility. and I wish there was an option to filter out your posts.

Was just told that the 50% off was valid only on "specified office merchandise", what a load of BS. I told her to tell me where it said that, she just said "I'm not taking it". I told her call corporate, cross channel, etc... she seemed kind of mad that I knew that she SHOULD have called, but wouldn't call regardless. Definitely jealous of me getting a good deal, so I bought the T2I out of spite and will return it to another staples just so she can't have it.

BTW, this was at the staples in brick, nj, with the asst. manager, Sam

Corporate is getting an angry call monday morning nod

Was buying a desktop computer today and manager was trying to up sell the usual antivirus, software and accessories. Offered a "big" discount' which he explained to be as much as 25%. Used a 50 off app coupon but denied 25 off banner coupon.

Manager asked again about extended warranty which I had declined earlier but this time he offered a discount. I agreed if he would allow the 25 off coupon. He said yes and applied 25 off and then used a 25% off single item scratcher business coupon. Apparently he did not get the memo to destroy the business scratcher coupons!

So he used the coupon on a desktop? I'm guessing he had to over-ride it? I know the coupon says excludes computers but maybe it'll actually work if someone tries it?

The coupon did not discount the price of the computer but discounted the warranty. Did not need to override.
