Looking for a nice, reliable, well rated gas grill...for less than $250.
So I'm no expert when it comes to gas grills, but as far as I can tell, Weber grills are the only universally praised grills. That said, they're also well outside my budget.Can anyone suggest something sturdy and reliable for around $250? |

Take a look at the Sears Kenmores. They have a big selection and are highly rated with 10 year burner warranties.

Stick with Weber since they age well outdoors.

Yeah, Weber is actually worth it in the long run. I have the equivilant to the Spirit E-310 (Silver Genesis, I think is what mine is called) - it's almost 13 years old & still works like a champ. I can get parts for it from Home Depot - I've replaced the heat deflectors & the grates, and the ignitor is dead but I never bothered replacing that (match lighting it is very easy). Still no hot spots & it heats up very quickly.
I can see at least another 3-5 years of usage out of this thing before it falls apart (or I get sick of it). |
