Private Activity Stream

Noticed about a week ago that the Private Activity Stream isn't showing any activities like it had been. No notifications of threads started, reps given or received, private messages sent or received....all the activities that were displayed/listed until recently.

Was something changed? Will these "activities" now no longer show in Private Activity Stream?

Interesting. I see no public activity stream, either. I thought reps always showed.

Unless, perhaps, you have reps turned off, which is not the case here.

I am unable to receive PM's and delete old alert. I have researched SD for instructions and I believe I have the correct settings. Would you be so kind to help me further.

Only thing I can think of as far as PM's go, is make sure you've checked the option to Enable Private Messaging under Settings & Options. I do think you have to have a certain number of posts to be able to receive & send PM's, but I'm not sure.

I don't know about deleting old alerts though. Wish I could help you more.

All I can suggest is to post a thread about the issues, and hope one of the mods or a developer responds.

I have over 100 posts and been a member about 1 year.
I have the settings you speak of checked.

Hopefully it will correct itself soon.

I hope so too! A lot of stuff seems to be messed up right now on SD, like account settings & activity streams.

Feature development may be occupying all the dev bandwidth at the moment, so they might not be putting out the minor fires.

One thing you might try... under Settings & Options (aka Change My Settings page), Edit Options tab, there is an option (button) at the bottom of the page to "Reset Fields" You might print the page with your current settings for reference and then do that reset and save to see if that restores the activity stream.

Unless you've just had so much activity that you've broken Slickdeals...
