Nice price for a great plasma. Too bad this 60" is a little too big and expensive for me.

Been keeping track of the 50/55" versions but they haven't dropped much. There's like a $60 diff between the 55" vs 60" now! What the heck?!

This is a good price and highly rated, my wife is going to kill me!

For those that bought this on the Pauls TV deal a few weeks ago, I'm in the process of getting a price match. Will let you know what happens.

I got one the 55 inch through a "friends and family" discount at Panasonic a few weeks ago... very very happy with the tv's visual performance... the apps i don't use much except for skype. now i am looking to get the Panasonic sound bar SC-HTB550 when they drop below $300~ as the sound for most flat panels is weak sause.

I am physically ill because I am so excited. Been hovering over "Buy" button on the 55" for weeks... knowing I really wanted the 60". Set up my first notification (for anything) on Sunday night after years of SD'ing... hoping on Memorial Day that lightening would strike. Took me 60 full seconds to digest the notification of the "Hot Deal" in my e-mail this morning. Happened to have an Amazon credit from various gifts/rewards... so I just got my dream screen for $1453.95... not tax, no shipping... with a 14-day guarantee that Memorial Day won't screw me. Oh, and 24 months same-as-cash on the Amazon card, should I care to let it ride for a bit. Easily the best (reasonable) HDTV I've found in 6 months of intense research. I can't feel my legs... sweet mother. This is my first post on the site... and I just want to say may God/Allah/Kharma/Budha/L. Ron Hubbard/Brigham Young bless the O.P.!!!!

Tried to get Amazon to price match the same tv a couple weeks ago from Pauls. They wanted me to pay $100 for shipping. and yet here it is now for $50 LESS, no tax, free ship. Awesome! Going to order mine today. I can get a 60" screen for cheaper but the reviews on this are solid and suppose to be a great tv. good timing as I hit the half way mark of my living room remodel. rep

Picked this one up from Fry's about 6 months ago for $999....every time this TV comes up again since, I'm dumbfounded I got it for so cheap!

I have been nothing but happy with it so far, it is a great set. Although, I would wait it out a bit at this price. The 55" version came up a month or so ago for $1,000 and I dont think this one is 50% better than that.

Was 1240 back in November to December time frame...never understood TV pricing...goes up by hundreds of dollars...then goes down by hundreds of dollars..

A 60 is really a 50 when you have black bars on some movies which takes up screen space...

This model just came out in April/May. It is not possible to have picked up a tv that wasn't even out yet 5-6 months ago. You're thinking of the ST30 model.
