For what it's worth, I picked one of these up from Staples about 6 months ago (thanks to another SD) and I really like it. I read reports about them dying quickly but I haven't had any issues.

Got one of these for my father in law a few months back for 69.99 I believe. Works great for him. He velcro's it to his laptop lid and just leaves it plugged in. I transfer most of the stuff he has on it to it... and I must say the speed is fine (coming from being used ot 2.0 USB. So maybe if you have all 3.0 devices, it may differ... but in my experiance it works great and fast.

I picked one of these up from Staples for around the same price a few months ago. I opened the case and used the drive in my PS3 which has worked perfectly ever since.
If you like the deal/post share some reps, they don't cost you anything, but let others know that their effort is appreciated.

I joined slickdeals to save money but on the contrary, I spend money on things I don't even need and eventually end up in Goodwill or the trash.

In for one. Great deal. Stacking the mfr coupon and a purchased e-junkie coupon ($1.98, very easy & quick) worked to bring the total to about $70, with tax.

Thats why I said PM never worked for me, the slick deal is the $65 1tb drive, currently it's the best price I could find for a USB 3.0 drive |
