Who here is planning to move from Virgin to T-Mobile's 4G $30/mo plan from walmart? Is the only downside of the plan the loss of 200 minutes? (from VM's 300 down to tmo's 100)

Plan pricing was good, but the service sucks. Used if for 14 days and returned to Walmart. Sucks cause I had to pay for a month of service but could only use it for 14 days (walmart return policy).

Was hoping it would work because it would have been perfect for me. I'm expecting to go with AT&T through ST when my verizon contract comes up in June.

Hopefully SII's will come down with the release of the SIII.

Where do you live? Did you check the coverage maps for Tmo before you started with them?

It will never work. I have a friend who tried this too-good-to-be-true plan and he quit after the very first month. The 4g coverage is very spotty. Yes, it sounds good. But dont expect to have 4g everywhere. Unless you stay at home where you have a fixed 4g coverage area. But you already have your home wifi anyway.

Forget about coverage maps. My workplace doesn't have any signal at all while the coverage maps showed all solid green (suppose to be 100% coverage with perfect signal). Everytime I need to make a phone call, I have to walk 400ft away from my building.

Looks good, great deal. I have a rooted, ROMed OV but i can't wait to get rid of it. Probably one of the better or best deals right now for any prepaid service.
