So I could buy this for 19.99 get it unlocked online somehow? and then switch to verizon with my number and just stick to the wifi without getting a data plan?

this won't be locked to the gophone simcard will it?
I plan to unlock it but I've had gophone phones before which would only accept the gophone sim card with which it was activated. |

Possible Free Unlock Instructions...
I spent the last hour looking for a free way to unlock the ATT branded Palm Pixi Plus and found this. Looks like this should unlock so you can use on Tmobile, when traveling abroad, etc!http://www.howardforums.com/showt...on-TMobile Good Luck All!

Got 1, plan to use with straight talk. with ATT gophones, the number is valid for some time, but until you activate auto refill it will not refill. Fingers crossed

So, just to make sure I know what I'm getting into here, there's no way they're going to charge me $50.00. It's just the "$50.00 monthly unlimited plan" line item in my cart that's making me nervous. I did remove the $50 card that they tried to auto-include.

I already have AT&T and want a new phone. Can I buy this and put my existing SIM card in this phone? If yes will they then add a data plan to my phone? I don't have a data plan and don't want one. Please help me!
Edit: The device you have selected requires a data service. AT&T offers a choice of data services for access to email, the Web, contacts, and more. This device requires a data plan so you will be billed for one
