Thread Details

Canceled my XM service 3 weeks ago and just recieved a letter in the mail offering 6 months for 25$ with free activation

Call 1-877-575-3255 with your XM Radio ID and/or Account #

Set mine up in about 10 minutes. Not seeing any special offer code or whatnot, so it should be good to go for anyone with an inactive radio.

Easy breezy - he offered me 6 months for 24.99 before I could even get a word out!

Damn, should have read here first. I just called to cancel, and got 6 months for $43, my 5 months expired last month. Well, I took it, had a $50 debit card. I could have gotten the 89, but wasn't going to give my banking info. I make sure I have a prepaid debit when I know I have to deal with them.

XM let us cancel after 4+ years of anual subscription and we haven't received anything from them since other than an email on featured listening content which I can't get them to stop sending (unsubscribed 7 times now - spammers).

XM can keep their over priced content we are now streaming our smart phone to the radio for free (iheart radio or pandora) - when will they fail due to lack of customer service??

My initial subscription on a new Sirius receiver in my car, which was 5/$25, was to end in a couple of days, and auto-renew at full price, so I called to cancel or negotiate for another 5/$25.

The first CSR tried to hard-sell me into 12/$86 and when I insisted on maintaining my current rate, she disconnected me.

When I called back the second CSR offered me 12/$86 and 6/$43 and when I declined she offered me 5/$25 immediately.

So it really depends on who you get.

I called to "cancel" and they went down the line offering me different things. 84.00 for a year...50 for 6 months...etc etc. The "final offer" was 25.00 for 5 months and I accepted that.

I just got the 5/25 after a 5/25 cycle. I just called and said too expensive and wanted to cancel and the only way I would stay is if I could get the same deal again. CSR said he had to look and surprise he could do it lol

Any advice on getting s sweet deal on a new radio I want to get a second one

Just called and got the 6/$25 on my radio. It was an active radio so they transferred me to another department and asked for this deal and they did it no problem.

Yeah I'm missing my POTUS.

It's the only show I listened to but I don't know if I can justify $25 bucks just for that.
