Wow...I'm SOOO glad I jumped on the Walmart deal. If that's the nationwide Lowes price, Walmart beats them hands down. I think the Home Depot promo is 2 13.5 lb bags for $5.99. Still not as good as Walmart, but better than Lowes.

I snagged about 20 $1.00 off manufacturer coupons from the Walmart display a few weeks ago waiting for these deals. I think Home Depot will be selling individual bags and not a bundle of two so I can use two coupons for their deal which should make it better than the others.

EDIT: I was wrong, the HD deal is for a 2 pack of 13.9 lbs each for $5.88. It is Lowes that seems to be selling the individual bags instead of the bundles. They have the better deal with a $1 off coupon for each bag. Ends up at $7.99 for 40 lbs.

That's 20 cent/lb (Walmart) vs. 25 cent/lb. Will stop at my Walmart and stock up more from there if Home Depot is not having a better deal.

Anyway, why it it advertised as 41.9 Lb?

i work as a merch for a diff company in home depot overnights and i noticed they had the 2 X 20lb package of kingsford for 6.XX in chino, ca before i left this morning.

Don't forget when HD comes out with their ad and it is cheaper, Lowes will more than likely lower their price.

It happened a couple of months back when HD had there "Black Friday" in March and Lowes matched the price of the Scotts Easy Seed. At least the one near me did.

Deal is live NOW in St. Louis. Advertised as going live tomorrow, but pallets marked and rang up on sale.
