Needs a Cheap Laptop for Facebook and Email

I need a new laptop for only facebook and email. What is the best laptop for this task. The cheaper the better.

Look for a T series machine - T60, T61, or T400 would be ideal. You should be able to get one for ~$200.

I purchased my mother a small Lenovo a few months back for travel and email for $250. Just setup a deal alert and I'm sure you'll find something.

The 16 inchers (15.6) are invariably the cheapest to buy as they are the most popular size.
We often see specials at $300 and sometimes a wee bit lower, $275, $280.

A cell phone can cover email and facebook...no need for anything special on a computer.

Like I said, it's Smurf size. I'm a man with man hands and fingers that can contact 6 keys in one touch. Unless I decide to sharpen my fingertips in a pencil sharpener, I won't be typing on one of those keyboards, at any speed.
If your logic about the tiny screens made sense, then that would be the end of laptop sales.
Last but not least, we who choose to respond to info requests, should make an effort to supply good info relevant to the question/s. There is nothing abnormal about a person wanting a laptop for the OP's usage, thus no reason to switch him/her to another device than what he/she requests, don't you think?

I have 2 laptops and 3 desktops + a smart phone. When I get home what do you think I use 99% of the time. Yeah, my phone for email, and facebook. You can use screen extender to show your phones screen on your tv if you like even. I can print off my phone too.

Just seems like the OP is broke as joke.
