It's a completely meaningless number.

Any info on how the black levels are on this tv. I currently have a 42" plasma, so I'm spoiled with black levels, but I was wanting to upgrade to 1080p and the Internet apps for Netflix and Hulu would be a lot easier to deal with than using game consoles.

Any reason NOT to buy this tv for this price?

Chances are, your plasma is going to look better. Better with motion too.

For whatever reason, I've always had motion issues with my plasma even though people say you shouldn't. Maybe my eyes are really sensitive, I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a 5ms set so I'm not overly concerned (I PC game on a 6ms LCD).

I know the black levels aren't going to be nearly as good, but it would be a decent trade off for me as long as they're not bad. After rearranging my livingroom and moving the couch substantially closer to the tv (6-ish feet away), I'm seeing stair stepping on everything. $350 is just a fantastic deal for a set with these specs....oof.

I'm no expert, but it seems there are way too many refurbished Vizio's out there, way more than any other brand.

Edit: They do look really good in the store though!
