Where to buy the cheapest party favors for kids party ?

Where is the best place to buy cheap party flavors for kid's birthday party ?

Is it "party city" or "US toy" or craft stores like "AC moore" and "Michael's" (with coupon, of couse )

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

For plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths, etc Walmart is the cheapest. They want 99 cents for most items, $1.27 for the character items. They also sell some party favors now as well. Oriental Trading Company is my favorite place to buy party favors online. Party City has the best selection but isn't the cheapest. Dollar Tree stores are great for party favors also.

Never thought about Walmart.

I went into party city and raked up last week. They had an entire wall of clearance stuff, ranging from star wars erasers to pencil sharpers to crayons to little mermaid stencils. All packs of 12 or more for 50cents each.

But i agree with the other posters, Dollar tree is great (for little boys they usually have packs of 48 army men for $1 which of course you can treat as 48 pieces).

Yeah Party City is awesome for clearance stuff as far as themed stuff goes. There's a good variety of favors too. Some people know or recognize when stuff is from the dollar store. Party City is a good alternative for that.

I've never heard of going to a craft store for favors though.
