I can't finish a post without going back and editing for spelling at least once and often several times. But they ARE mostly typos, not spelling errors - due to the width of my fingers and the speed and way that I type - which is a mixture of "touch" and "huntin' pecker" typing. I actually produce close to 80-100 wpm, but I don't use my pinky well - thus the modified touch system that relies on more movement of the first 3 digits on my right hand and the first 2 digits on my left. Most of my typos come from the right hand, letters "p". "o", "i", & the various symbol keys on the right side of the keypad - especially "m" and the comma and a lot of colon/quote keys errors. My actual spelling is sufficiently good enough that combined with Windows' native spell-check I manage to not mangle too many actual spellings, but I have my set of chronically misspelled words, just like most people. |
