Omega juicers half price, today only. VRT330 for $165

Just finished drinking my first cup of juice using the VRT330 and it was delicious. Simple combo, 2 Red delicious apples and 2 carrot sticks...I can definitely get into juicing. After I'm done cleaning the machine, I'm off to buy some fruits and veggies for the juicer.

My 330HD arrived today which coincides with the start of week 3 of my reboot juice fast. What a great motivation to continue. My Breville, which works fine, can now take a rest while I learn the Omega.

I am down a shirt size and 3" off my waist and I feel GREAT.

I have juiced almost exclusively the "Mean Green" recipe:

6 Kale Leaves
1 Cucumber
4 Celery Stalks
2 Green Apples
1/2 Lemon
1 piece of ginger

Melons are on sale so I substitute a slice for one of the apples sometimes.
The recipe makes about 32 OZ.

My first try with the 330HD went perfectly thanks to the links to the RAWFOODs videos. It took me about twice as long to chop, juice, and cleanup as the Breville, but as I get more used to the Omega I think that will speed up. I noticed a major difference in how well the Omega extracted from both the Kale and the Apples. The juice is much darker green, a little pulpier, and more homogenized than the Breville. Noticeably superior juice I think.

Its hard for me to get pissed at a few weeks shipping delay when this thread got me not only half off a great juicer, but has already greatly improved my health and my attitude towards what I eat. I hope a some of you have the right mindset to get as much out of this deal as I have.

To answer/clarify that: ask yourself how many people on SD ordered it because they saw it on GMA, and this is only one of the forums that had it posted. I know of at least 4 more that featured the deal.

When I juice cucumbers, I get some pulp at the bottom of the cup , its really not much but its there.

You should be putting in at least 10 large carrot sticks for 1 Apple.
2 Large carrot sticks yield about 2 table spoon of carot juice. What you drank was 99% Apple juice.

Your math sucks. If you are correct in 10 sticks to one apple, then it would be about 91% apple juice.

Are you seriouly that dumb?!? did you pass math and chemistry? sorry if you are still in grade 1.

Yield from one apple is not the same as one carrot stick.
One apple gives you about 1.5 - 2 cups of juice.
10 large carrot sticks with 1 apple juice would yield about 30% Carrot/ 70% Apple juice.

Let me ask you a question. which is heavier? one ton of gold or one ton of hair?

Thanks for the info, I wasn't trying to get any specific 50/50 balance...I just put what was handy at the time..

Those that received your order, did your status on omegajuier account change to shipped or does it still say processing? Still waiting for my 8004.

I got a shipping email and now my account says the order is "complete".

I finally got mine. However the address on the shipping label was cut off towards the end. Luckily Fedex called me and delivered it to me with a corrected label. Thanks OP!

Got mine a few days back...went to Costco and bought a whole lot of veggies and fruits...Been juicing like crazy!

Both of my orders, one that I received and one that got cancelled, still say "Processing"...
