I'd probably say yes based on my one past experience. You just have to be EXTREMELY lucky. About 2 weeks ago I randomly got on the outlet around noon and saw an i5 for $250. Couldn't believe my eyes. But I quickly added it to my cart, paid, and it actually shipped out.

Crazy amazing prices--the best I've ever seen. I wasn't able to check out with most though.

I tried to get the $358 i5 Z470 for a friend, but it went OOS before I could order.

I tried to get the $217 B950 G570--still working on that. Update--got 2.

But my prize is my $434 Y570 w/ i5 & GT 555M.

EDIT: I forgot the Lenovo GT 555M is nerfed. I'm so disappointed.

I got the i7 with discrete/switchable Y570 for $575. This also has the ability to add a msata boot drive in addition to the Hard drive

I actually just scored a T420s with the i2540 and 128GB SSD for $378, part number 4171XF2. I got VERY lucky.

I think 3 laptops is enough for one day for me. I've got 2 ultrabooks (1 was free) on the way in the mail. So I really don't need more than 5 laptops sitting around...and that's not counting the 2 I already have at home.
