Please read DISH IPTV Reviews: http://dishworldiptv.blogspot.com...eview.html

DISH IPTV is provided by Neulion Service http://www.neulion.com/?clients. Their servers are slow, and you will get buffering, aka service unavailable, during evenings when everyone is jumped onto dish iptv server to watch TV. Many people have subbed by contract, and are crying they made a mistake. Optimum boost will not help resolve the problem, as their servers are slowed down by high traffic. Changing their current generic IPTV box to ROKU box makes no difference to service, as the problem is their servers. They need to add or upgrade their servers. Also, not all the international channels are on IPTV, as there are on Satellite dish.None of the channels on IPTV are HD, they are all SD 480i.

Dish IPTV is now being hosted by Move Networks, neuilon is no longer involved in the service, this change is effective as of May 23. There are no more buffering issues as the service uses something called Adaptive Streaming. You need a minimum of 1mbps to have a watchable experience or as high as 4mbps to have the best experience

May be they are improving, but still way to costly than other options like reliable iptv - i am happy with their telugu channels - very rare buffering and ON demand veiwing of entertainent channels for the last 2 weeks/14 days

BEING A CURRENT CUSTOMER OF DISHWORLD USING ROKU...SERVICE IS VERY GOOD....THERE IS NO OTHER PROVIDER WHO CAN PROVIDE YOU PREMIUM INDIAN CHANNELS (STAR/ZEE/SONY)....JUST DON'T THUMBS DOWN FOR THE SAKE OF IT!!!!

I WAS A DISH CUSTOMER FOR 12 YEARS SUBSCRIBING TO THEIR B4U/ZEE/SONY/TVASIA/MAA/GEMINI/TEJA (at different times) ALL ALONG. 6 MONTHS AGO, SWITCHED TO ROKU STREAMING TAKING YUPPTV MEGA TELUGU PACK FOR $120/YEAR. I'm SO HAPPY, I REPENT BEING DISH CUSTOMER UN-NECESSARLY PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLERS. NO DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY AND YOU GET LOT MORE CHANNELS ON YUPPTV. BEST FOR TELUGU. NO GOOD HINDI CHANNELS YET. RELIABLEIPTV IS EQUALLY GOOD. woot

THIS IS A LEGIT site owned by DISH NETWORK!! IF not satisifed you can CALL dish cutomer service and get connected to the DISH WORLD customer service through them.!!! They also have 48 hour REWIND feature....which is similar to having a DVR Smilie

Having a Roku player, I did subscribed to DISH iptv yesterday. I bought the Hindi package ($39.99) and I must say, the quality is as good as the Dish Satellite. I did not notice any buffering delays. Also I could watch the shows 48 hrs ago.
Dish is good for any one who wants Hindi package. I know it could be expensive but its the only reliable choice.

No, they are not. Dish Network prices are not "way too high" compared to DirecTV, cable, or any comparable service. They are lowish. If they are too high for you and you want legitimate service, you are left with OTA, Amazon Prime, Netflix....
i meant for the international channels. specifically indian channels.

I think I will give it a try
1. Buy Roku from Costco (can be returned easily if it doesn't work)
2. Try for two week (no charge)
3. If it works ok (try for another month and put my directtv on hold)
4. If it still works ok (cancel directtv)

As I understand this DishWorld iptv service through Roku doesn't have any contract and can be cancelled anytime.
Please Correct me if this not right. Thanks.

I thought they were legitimate. are they not?

here i thought i might have a cheaper option than dish as their rates are way too high.
From my personal experience, WatchSunTv is an illegal service provider owned by a guy in Canada who is broadcasting thru his server which is illegally importing all hindi channels broadcasted from DirecTv, DishTv. I had 0 days when their all channels were perfectly working. They always had some problems....... so pay monthly service fee and just shut up and watch whatever is coming, otherwise it's your bad luck. No phone and email customer support available. You open a ticket in their support center and will never get an adequate response.

For the price and service, WatchSunTv gets my only 2 cents compare to Dish IP TV.

Dish IP TV service is totally free from any any contract agreement. You pay for a month and that's it.

no roku is trying to break the partnership with all other indian IP TV service providers and trying to tie up with Dish IP TV. Dish IP TV is the only official indian channels providers with Roku now. And Roku is also advertising them to roku users with free 2 weeks trial from Dish IP TV.

as you may have heard bad reviews about JadooTV. But I got the JadooTV 2 HD for $225 from local store. On my 3rd week and its awesome. Nothing compared to all the bad reviews online. Yesterday I saw SPL, U19 WorldCup. If it last like this 2 more months, box will pay for itself from the costly dish charges.

BTW, not even dish has this many quality channels.
