Please read DISH IPTV Reviews: http://dishworldiptv.blogspot.com...eview.html

DISH IPTV is provided by Neulion Service http://www.neulion.com/?clients. Their servers are slow, and you will get buffering, aka service unavailable, during evenings when everyone is jumped onto dish iptv server to watch TV. Many people have subbed by contract, and are crying they made a mistake. Optimum boost will not help resolve the problem, as their servers are slowed down by high traffic. Changing their current generic IPTV box to ROKU box makes no difference to service, as the problem is their servers. They need to add or upgrade their servers. Also, not all the international channels are on IPTV, as there are on Satellite dish.None of the channels on IPTV are HD, they are all SD 480i.

Dish IPTV is now being hosted by Move Networks, neuilon is no longer involved in the service, this change is effective as of May 23. There are no more buffering issues as the service uses something called Adaptive Streaming. You need a minimum of 1mbps to have a watchable experience or as high as 4mbps to have the best experience

May be they are improving, but still way to costly than other options like reliable iptv - i am happy with their telugu channels - very rare buffering and ON demand veiwing of entertainent channels for the last 2 weeks/14 days

BEING A CURRENT CUSTOMER OF DISHWORLD USING ROKU...SERVICE IS VERY GOOD....THERE IS NO OTHER PROVIDER WHO CAN PROVIDE YOU PREMIUM INDIAN CHANNELS (STAR/ZEE/SONY)....JUST DON'T THUMBS DOWN FOR THE SAKE OF IT!!!!

I WAS A DISH CUSTOMER FOR 12 YEARS SUBSCRIBING TO THEIR B4U/ZEE/SONY/TVASIA/MAA/GEMINI/TEJA (at different times) ALL ALONG. 6 MONTHS AGO, SWITCHED TO ROKU STREAMING TAKING YUPPTV MEGA TELUGU PACK FOR $120/YEAR. I'm SO HAPPY, I REPENT BEING DISH CUSTOMER UN-NECESSARLY PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLERS. NO DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY AND YOU GET LOT MORE CHANNELS ON YUPPTV. BEST FOR TELUGU. NO GOOD HINDI CHANNELS YET. RELIABLEIPTV IS EQUALLY GOOD. woot

THIS IS A LEGIT site owned by DISH NETWORK!! IF not satisifed you can CALL dish cutomer service and get connected to the DISH WORLD customer service through them.!!! They also have 48 hour REWIND feature....which is similar to having a DVR Smilie

Having a Roku player, I did subscribed to DISH iptv yesterday. I bought the Hindi package ($39.99) and I must say, the quality is as good as the Dish Satellite. I did not notice any buffering delays. Also I could watch the shows 48 hrs ago.
Dish is good for any one who wants Hindi package. I know it could be expensive but its the only reliable choice.

If you are a Dish Network customer, and planning on subscribing to Indian channels, then I would recommend getting them on your Dish Receiver. Dish IPTV subscription is per receiver unlike Dish Network where you pay one fee and watch it on multiple TVs vs pay one fee per receiver (if you wanted to watch in multiple rooms).

I dont know, I can only say what I know about DISH IPTV. Check ROKU website and you will find a few channels available for sub at a fee. I think WIllow TV is available on a ROKU. channel for some $$. THe better question is which IPTV provider has the most stable servers. You will have to find out by trial and error.

yes, that's what it seems like. I am just little bit skeptical on signing IPTV providers when it comes to Indian channels especially I have always read horrible experiences thru many IPTV providers. I have watched Indian channels thru Comcast and Verizon FiOS cable provider in the past but they are pretty expensive for international channels compare to IPTV providers.

I am paying $10/month yupptv with megateluguvalue package with Zee Telugu, Maa, Maa Movies, Maa Music and few other boring channels. Quality is good. I watch their Indian time recorded TV instead of live US time TV. It is good quality and lets me forward through commercials which is great given those ads are irrelevant and stupid

Does YuppTV gives you an option to decide whether you want to watch Indan time recorded TV or USA Time live TV?

The blog is is for review. I did not start it, but reading it I took the plunge anyway. I went for DISH IPTV as its legit, and my apt doesnt allow satellite. Hopefully they will add more channels and improve quality.

1. Are all Indian Hindi channels broadcast directly from India? Or they will be broadcasted thru USA broadcast network? For example, Zee and Sony has different programs and timings in USA compare to India.
All the channels are similar to Dish Network, they are streamed based on US timmings (ET/PT/CT)

2. What is the resolution of all channels you offer? 480 or 720p or 1080i or 1080p?
ITs 480p for now, and they are working on HD as we speak

3. At which internet download speed there won't be any buffering issue?[/QUOTE]
Not sure....you will need to call the customer service for this.

Yes. They have a live channel and a recorded channel. In recorded channel you just have to browse through what is recorded and pick what you want to watch. What you will find is, what ever is coming in US live channel is already there in recorded channel.
They have 3 options for each channel 1. IST live 2. US time live 3.Recorded in IST time. You dont want to watch IST live, because its odd timings in India, you will find some stupid stuff or religious stuff. Out of 2 and 3, I find recorded TV better, so I can just watch what I want.
