Getting ATT wireless at a reasonable price

I've been on the $30/month plan from T-mobile using groove IP for voice chat, and the quality is so poor I starting looking in to switching to ATT, but the cheapest plan I can put together would be $90 (450 mins [$40], unlimited texts [$20], 3 GB data [$30]). Is there any way to get a better deal? I need about 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and at least 2 GB of data. Thanks

See if the company you work for has a plan to get a percentage off or see if they do a discount through AAA. Sprint waves the activation fee and does an 11% discount for AAA I believe. And through my wifes work we get 25% off service and we got free activation and 25% off accessories. Also when talking to them you can get your phone discounted and possibly up to 50% off your data package for 6 months... when I was with them I managed to get that. But we hated AT&T and now spend a bit more for Verizon but get superior service and twice the data for less per gb.

att and tmobile use the same towers so you might get same bad signal find other tmobile customers and find out if they are bad,was it always bad,or is it new,cingular started making ts signal bad when it wanted people to upgrade from analog to digital,i wonder s tmobile dong the same,you could buy cheap tmobile disposable prepaid t mobile phone to check if it your phone or servce i bought this in walgreens for 12 dollars
