Hmm, not sure if this thread is getting the attention it should get.
I grabbed one for myself. The promo code made a big difference. ![]() I think I've made the right choice to jump ship into WP7. I had a Android and was tired of constantly fiddling around with custom roms and apps that I don't need. It was a huge time sink. Looking forward to receiving the phone!

If you guys want a good laugh, check out the prices on Secondipity's new crop of phones.
http://www.secondipity LG Quantum - $228.99 - an unpopular 1st gen windows phone for one dollar less than a Samsung Focus S? Lumia 710 White - $319.99 - about $100 over market value. Luma 710 Black - $424.99 - about $200 over market value. HTC Radar 4G - $379.99 - about $200 over market value. HTC Trophy - $423.99 - you're trying to sell me a used 1st generation windows phone at its two-years-ago MSRP? The only two that are reasonable are the Samsung Focus S at $229.99 (-10% w/ coupon = $207) and the HTC Arrive at $135.99 (-10% AC = $122,) although I am not a fan of horizontal slide-out keyboards on Windows Phone. Get it together, guys! Your goal is to SELL these things, right? |

The most likely scenario of AT&T giving you the unlock code is if you got the phone through them on contract, you've been with them for several months, and you call them and tell them you're going overseas. Obviously that doesn't work for you. When I got my Focus S from the Smoked by Windows Phone Challenge, I walked it right over to the AT&T store with the receipt to ask them for the unlock code, and they basically laughed me out of the store. If you're not on contract with T-Mobile, you may want to consider Straight Talk wireless. You can take advantage of the AT&T network's 3G speeds on your Titan II, and you won't need to unlock. As I'm sure you know, the Titan II can only utilize 2G EDGE data speeds on T-Mobile. Straight Talk is $45/mo for unlimited talk, text, and data (actual data cap is 2.5GB/mo I believe.) |

I think I'm gonna sell both of my phones. |
