confirmed! i just tried this at a staples in boston and it worked.
i went in, and the guy at first said he couldn't. i told him i knew it had worked for some people, and he called corporate and they gave him the go-ahead. tl;dr. give it a shot in the stores, it just might work! |

According to the June 3-9 Staples flyer attached to this post, The Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight will be available at Staples before June 9 (when my bunch of $25 off coupons expire). So the Glowlight version will be $114 + tax.. more than double the price of the unlit Simple Touch today. Decisions..decisions..

Actually, he didn't say anything. He wrote everything. I know where to get the coupon. I just figured some SDer might be kind enough to save me some time looking through all the expired coupons offered at eJunkie. If someone would be kind enough to share a link via PM of a deal they found on a $25 off $75 coupon code I would greatly appreciate it with reps. Thanks. |

I'm VERY happy with mine from that sale. Plus, I got HEB amazon gift cards $5 off of $30 the day before that sale, so it was more like $40 for me. The touch readers are larger/heavier and offer little benefit over physical buttons imo. Plus, I don't sit in B&N stores for 3 hrs a day reading for free and making nooks better than amazon's market... |
