Best price for adobe illustrator?
Looking for adobe illustrator and do not want to spend $600, any suggestions on how to buy it at a good price  thanks for any adice.

are you a college student or do you know one? most universities allow student discounts on adobe and microsoft products mine does.

There are a few options -
Inkscape is free - it's the open source equivalent to Illustrator: http://inkscape.org/ If you MUST have Illustrator, one trick I've used in the past is to buy a previous full version on ebay, and you can use that to upgrade to the latest version: CS3 or CS4 on ebay - $200 Upgrade to CS6 from Adobe - $250 Total of $450 - better than $600! OR Adobe now offers subscription pricing - $20/mo for a year, or $30/mo for no contract (month to month) |

Thanks for the info, guys. I will be enrolled at stanford for two classes but not until fall, i wonder if that matters? I will check out ebay also
