Hotel near Hollywood & Universal with 4 kids
We are doing a Hollywood, Universal Studios and Disneyland trip in September. The Disneyland 3 day passes and hotel are booked, but we are having a heck of a time finding a decent hotel in Hollywood for 2 adults and 4 kids. Budgeting a max of $600 for two nights including BS fees, parking, internet and taxes. An ideal room would have three Queen beds, real queen size beds none of this double bed BS. A suite or adjoining rooms would be great.
The plan is to arrive via Amtrak Wednesday nite, rent a car and check in near Hollywood and sleep. Thursday do one of those Hollywood tours, Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater and end up at the Santa Monica Pier. After dinner at the Formosa, visit the Griffith Park Observatory. Friday check out and spend the day at Universal Studios. When done drive down to Anaheim.
A Hollywood hotel near one of those hop-on hop-off bus tours would be great. Nothing with roaches, bed bugs or security problems.
