And these are junk , expensive proprietary battery pack,

No I paid $ 50 on CL for the QC3 and if you are in L.A. I'm going to get ride of them.

We have reviewed your symptoms with our Noise Reduction Technology Group (NRTG) and have been advised that very rarely have they encountered customers who describe a sense of pressure on their ears when wearing our Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones. Our NRTG has examined our headphones and have not found anything unusual to explain the symptoms. The only explanation they could offer is that the auditory effect of having the low frequency sound around you suddenly reduced is similar to what one hears when one's ears are under pressure or perhaps when suffering from an ear infection. Consequently, you may have associated this effect with discomfort.

Unfortunately, there are no repairs or fixes that can be done to the headphones to eliminate your symptoms and exchanging the QC3 headphones for another pair or type of Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones probably will not eliminate the symptoms either*......

Shoot.. I have a pair of QC2's and love them. Much better than the pain I get from "noise isolating" IEM's after 4-5 hours of use on a plane.

Love my QC15's. Use them at work daily.

I liked them well enough, but when my top-of-the-line quality American company Bose headphones busted and I called customer support to get a RMA to have them repaired, I was told: They Do No Repairs. You Are Effed. I screamed, I hollered, I told them what is this #$@! with a supposedly Cadillac product? Eventually, they gave me something like a 40% rebate off of list for a new pair. Folks, you don't want to do business with Bose. Like Ma Bell, they think they don't have to care. If it was a cheap junk or under $100 product, I'd just take my lumps but I thought this was outrageous

I've used to travel/fly almost every week and I wore a pair of these... they were great an noise cancelling BUT I also was susceptible to the ear pressure problems they caused - which at times did result in a headache. Some people are less sensitive and it does not affect them... but most I've talked to do feel the ear pressure after using them for 1+ hours.

I no longer have, or use, them... I use $10 set of skull candy Ink'd with foam ear buds - they are 90% as good at noise isolation due to the foam, 200x smaller, and sound quality is better than Bose and down and even as good as high-end ear buds I paid $80-90 for.
