Auto Loan Advice
Hello fellow slickdealers,
I am reaching out for some assistance because my head is beginning to spin trying to gather as much advice from existing auto load threads.
I am currently looking into buying either a used are from a private seller (known person) or certified used vehicle. I have looked into all the big names people seem to recommend here (penfed, dcu, ect) as well as my current bank. I am concerned about if i will get an approved. Over the past year i have been trying my hardest to dig my credit score out of the little hole i dug myself into, and have been succeeding for the most part. Needless to say there are a couple dings (3-5 30 days late, 1 90 days late) as well as one collection that has been paid off. My credit scores average around 650. I am currently working full time for the past 2 years making +50k before taxes. i have about 40k left in student loan debt that i have been paying off on time. Can any fellow slickdealers weigh in on there experience with any companies for auto loans, especially someone somewhat in my situation would definitely relieve some of my worries.
Thank you in advance,
a nervous slick dealer
