This is true, when we did this for the chipmunks, I had to refill the holes with more pepper.

Okay, I'll try the hair thing. Now, just need to find a source.

Go to any local hair salon, and ask them to save what falls on the floor when they cut women's hair, and bag it for you, if you need bring them a bag to do so; and ask them to save it, by the end of one day of cutting hair you should have enough to do what you want to do. Tell them you are using it for your garden to keep certain peeps away they will understand. They simply throw it away any ways - normally when a woman is getting their hair cut, a some point another person comes by with a special broom and sweeps up the freshly cut hair from the floor. I see it all the time when getting my hair cut. That way the hair dressers, who many times in the hot weather are wearing open toed shoes or flip flops on many occasions, do not get hair in their feet, as the tiny pieces of hair can embed into their skin

Another option is fox urine, which you can buy at feed stores.

Or probably Gun Shops, they sell all kinds of stuff such as this - I remember seeing this stuff in the hunting supply area; I tend to wander through the shop - not just look at the firearms

I'm training my chihuahuas to "kill the rabbit" as they munched on my early spring flowers, my tulips, my glads, etc. Bunnies are lethal! I use plantskydd--its horrible stuff--looks and smells horrible but it does seem to work--but you do have to reapply it.

You could try mothballs. I know they deter mice, don't know for sure about bunnies. Just lay them out all the way around the perimeter of your garden maybe 6" or apart.

I don't think I can handle awful smelling stuff in my front lawn. I have to walk by it and my window will be open. But thanks for the suggestion.

I've read about mothballs for chipmunks but not for rabbits. It's been raining so the bunnies been away... or maybe eaten by a doggy somewhere.

I just put out cayenne pepper underneath my eave of my house - so a cat will stop using my brand new mulched garden area as it's litter box This area doesn't get hit by rain, so here kitty, kitty, I have a new treat for you in my garden mulch oh I mean your paws
