Subscribed Threads E-mail Notifications

Hello SD!

First I want to say how great this place is and how much I appreciate all of the mods' and users' hard work!

I am trying to get instant e-mail notification for a certain thread (screeners thread) whenever there is a new post. I specifically only want posts that contain the words "new york" OR NY OR manhattan. I subscribed to instant delivery of new posts and setup a gmail filter to automatically delete any of these emails that don't contain my NY keywords.

The problem is that the notification e-mails state "There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again." Since most of these emails get deleted instantly, I will not know to visit the page to start getting the emails again. FW has the option on their subscription page to email me instantly on a new post "Once between visits" or "With every post", so this email filtering method works over there. Is there any way to implement such a system here or is there an option I am not aware of?

If this cannot work, is there a way (besides for a subscription to a specific thread) to setup an email notification in a way that would only alert me to specific posts in this one thread that contain my city keywords?
