First, sorry for topping an older thread, but if you are still looking a lot of times sears as tv's that will go on clearance and just keep getting lower priced. Check with your local store and see if they have any that were either clearanced or what they call 991 which are either display models or returns from customers. They check them to make sure everything works and still has the same warranty as a new one. Best way is to go in and ask them. Remember though if you want deals you gotta be nice to the guy selling them or he probably won't tell you about the one in the back that just sits there and gets lower priced.
I got a 40" top line samsung a few years ago for just under $300 and a 46" in the same series for $340.
