Really? The percentage of people that benefit from these are quite small. A lot of people buy these thinking the uses are for something else (jump start, fast charging, etc.). People that fall into my original posts category are not the majority. The problem is these are relatively cheap so people buy them and then find out they have a very specific purpose that doesn't fit their intended use. My dad has one of these and loves it (for charging his snowblower battery, riding mower battery, and mopeds battery). Some people have these and don't use them frequently in the off-season, a lot though don't.

Take it for what it's worth, someone that posts a helpful comment, and someone like karmatourer who adds nothing to the conversation...
