Prior to installing the SSDs I deleted everything BF3 related except my config file. Redownloaded, reinstalled BF3 to the dual WD VR in Raid0 and the load times drasticlly improved. I'm down to 6-7sec for a map reload and most new maps load in <13 second. I'm almost always first in and first to the chopper now. ![]() I then cloned my gaming drives to a 1.5 Seagate Barracuda, and recloned to the two M4 SSDs in Raid0. I see a slight improvement on some map loads. Some load in 3-4 seconds now. All in all was it worth the $170? Not really, I should have tried to reinstall prior to getting the M4s. Oh well. Thanks for the tip. |
