Just wanted to post back here and say that I got my first Visa Offer today via email, and it was a 30% off offer for a car rental with Hertz. Valid for use any time between now and the end of 2012. I know a lot of folks get car rental discounts already, but still: Awesome. I'm hoping for more discounts and codes.

Question: All my United Miles expiring in a couple months. If I sign up for this, and get new miles posted to my account, my current miles expiration date will be pushed back correct?

Miles expiration will be extended for another 18 months with any account activity, but make sure the 500 miles from this offer (4-6 weeks?) are posted in your account before expiration date.

500 miles is worth about $5 as generally accepted. However, I have purchased $800 worth of Mainland-Alaska for 25k miles on United. So, the value could be more than 1c.
