Would I be able to use female to male usb and hdmi cables in order to use this with my Bionic with a case? I have a case, but it is a pain to keep on taking off to use this.

You can but the micro HDMI female to male cable is hard to find.

I will hope to find the cables as my "OtterBox" case inhibits the connections from aligning up...

Only played with it last night for less than an hour (with the case off) - cool little piece for $50 - but I wouldn't have seen merit for the device for anything close to what they listed for... The design & build quality seem like they may have "needed" to get that much for them - but not for my usage.

Step son was needing new Droid and was able to get Bionic free (warranty replacement for whatever existing he had, through his friend at Verizon versus some $ for other Droid's) - and the guy found one of the docks for him - so as the package, it helped him decide which phone to get... New Bionic + Lapdock for $50. He picks his up today.

I called my local store in Quakertown, PA and she said there are none in stock within 100 miles and none in the Warehouse. Any suggestions on another way to get one?

Picked mine up from my dad today (he lives about an hour away and the store there was the only one in stock). I have to say that I love it! I had low expectations for it, so I wasnt disappointed with anything. This will be perfect as I tend to travel alot.

I bought the Atrix dock from 1SaleADay. I have heard of some people getting lucky on being able to turn around the ports. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you in advance!

Honestly I'm not sure. There are only 2 places that sell the micro HDMI female to male cable that I know of and both are insanely overpriced. If you use a regular micro HDMI male to male cable you also need an adapter and I was just too lazy to figure it out. I linked the 2 places that sell the exact cables that should work but they definitely aren't slickdeals.

yes, but then you would need an additional cable/adapter to extend the full sized HDMI. plus you would need to modify the adapter if you wanted to fit the micro usb adapter along side it.

find the old lapdock threads and you will find the proper adapters that fit side by side.

Just picked one up in Huntington, NY. Confirmed in Huntington, Freeport, and Roosevelt Field.

I went to a corporate store near me and provided them with the part number, they looked it up in their systems and told me they had a few in stock. However, they said they are still showing up as 199 in their systems. They also told me they don't match online accessory prices. She looked up a few other area stores but told me they were the only ones who still had any stock.

Not necessarily. I know of some places that are "Verizon Corporate Authorized Retailers" and they're not actually part of Verizon and actually CAN'T price match online prices.
