Time Warner Cable DVR $5 a month NYC YMMV

I went to time warner cable office yesterday to return a DVR box and asked about their whole house DVR. The guy asked me how many boxes I had and I said I'm about to add a 3rd, he told me they are now giving DVRs for $5 a month and it wasn't worth it to get whole house. He then also reduced my monthly fee to $5 for the single DVR I had instead of the $14. This is my first deal post but if it is city wide it is a great deal if you already have a DVR. I am upper west side NYC but he said it was for all of NYC.
