are you going to attach the staples rebate form too just in case [because that has the Company ID on the form] or will you just write it in as the wiki said?

There's nothing to install actually. When you pop the CD in, it takes you to that web page to activate the software without transferring any files to your computer. That's why the boxed version is sold for "Windows and Mac".

Just write "COMPANY ID:" followed by the company ID on the pre-submit rebate form.

I should have been clearer and said that there is no need to even use the CD as there is nothing to install.

Oops, did I have to activate by the 16th or I don't qualify for the rebate?

There is a stipulation to activate the QB SS software by 06/16, but in previous deals, this has not been enforced. Just make sure to add your company ID on the rebate form before mailing it.

i did the rebate for the quickbook thing from this deal and today i got some email from inutuit saying they received my rebate.
This is what it says

FYI, i had done this thru pre submission. This is the first time I have done this rebate and I had registered this software and handwrote the company id on the generated form and also attached a separate print out with company details... and now WTF!!! this thing looked like a scam to begin with and is only getting worse!!!

Thanks. Do you know what number would that be. Through INTUIT site, I can only reacht he email form and I would rather call them directly. Although the forms were sent to the regular Parago address, rebatesHQ would not pull up any record if I enter in the rebate tracking number, so it seems Intuit is directly handling it and calling Parago will be useless.


Long story short: do you know their number?

The rebate is still being processed by Parago. Sometime Parago limits what rebate information the rebateshq site can dispense. To track the rebate online goto www.intuitrebates.com [intuitrebates.com].

Not finding a phone number on the rebate form or the intuit rebate site, I went back in to my rebate file and found the following:

please call 1-800-201-0845, 8am – 5pm CST, Mon.– Fri. (live) or 24/7 (automated)

The automated answer states it is Intuit's rebate line. Closed for today for live help though.

So i called them up today and even after giving them the company id from their webpage they said this company id doesnt exist!!! How much more fked up can it get ? Anyway the rep forwarded to another dept and told me to wait another 6-7 days. I did acivate before june 16. No more intuit MIRs for me from now on!
