Yea I just picked up the XFX DD 7850 over memorial day weekend for about $287 AR CB and selling the 2 games, no issues here either. Great deal, might have considered moving up to the 7950 if this deal was around

This deal should be FP!!! Its an awesome card for the price. Owns the GTX 670 and I'm seriously considering returning my 7850 to get this one. For the price of $365, this card has a better price to performance ratio than GTX 670, especially when both are overclocked. Also, this is more futureproof since games in the future might need memory greater than 2GB. (GTX 670 only has 2GB but this one has 3GB).

Also selling the games on ebay means ~$50. So ~$300 for this card that comes close to the performance of GTX670 is a slickdeal!

In some cases 7950 outperforms the GTX 680

Also for ~$200, 7850 has the best price to performance ratio. It OCs easily to 7870 performance (and in some cases 7950)

This card does not "own" the GTX 670. In a handful of games that favor AMD cards (Crysis 2, Metro, to name a few) it runs a bit faster or right with it. In most other games a GTX 670 will often times beat a 7950 and even the 7970.

The big advantage the 7950 has over the 670 is the added VRAM. If you game at super high resolutions then the 7950 may be the better deal.

XFX is a great brand but AMD is having bad driver support more so in SLI setups. The new nvidia cards come with many new features you can't get with AMD and no PyhsX support. I am no fan boy, I just buy what I find to offer the most for my money.

Back to this deal, I think I would wait for further price drops maybe around GTX 660 launch.

This is a tempting deal. I have two 6870s and I'm very happy with them. (In 2 different computers -- my mobo's don't support CrossFire .. boo). Already have Deus Ex and Dirt 3 (but not Dirt Showdown) from earlier ATI deals.

Guess I just don't need the higher-power card for now -- the 6870 does what I need. Maybe later this year if I get a super high-res monitor, I'll upgrade then.

Sorry about the confusion. I meant price to performance wiase, 7950 at this price owns the 670. Especially when you OC both the cards, the performance difference decreases a lot.

Both NVIDIA and AMD have driver issues. (there is no such thing as SLi setup for AMD). Also, how many DX11 games have PhysX support? There are barely any :/

Very few: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhysX Crank an Nvidia card to ultra settings in Batman and switch the PhysX support to highest and watch even a tank of a card like the 670 drop to it's knees. PhysX is mostly neat, but implementation and hit on hardware is terrible.
