I don't want to JUST bash the Skeletoes as this is a good price... but you should go in and try on the Skeletoes and the FiveFingers and feel for yourself. The Vibram company mainly makes soles for shoes. They only started making FiveFingers because no one else would. Bet those companies are kicking themselves now! The sole is important on any shoe... but doubly so for this style. Just go for a test drive but be warned... it WILL take a couple weeks to get up to full comfort. They should still feel fine at first though... weird, but fine. Don't expect to be at 100% because of the time it takes to adapt to difference in stride and muscular structure til you get more used to them.

I've been running in KSO's for almost a year now, I love them. I ran a half marathon in them and my feet and knees were fine. Your running style obviously has to adapt, but once you learn how to run lightly as opposed to stomping and pounding your feet, you'll never go back.

Maybe my math brain isn't working well today, but that looks to be more expensive unless you buy four pairs.
