DeepDiscount's sale is such a shell of its former self. Downright depressing, now.

There are some good deals to be found, Im sure all the thumbs down are mostly for DD's slow shipping speed which has always been the complaint. I used to drop $1K a year at deepdiscountdvd back 8 years ago or so when I was really building my dvd collection, spending $300-500 on this bi-annual sale, but I no longer buy dvds or blurays and I think DD may have changed ownership since then. This sale used to be the greatest deal of the year for a DVD collector.

yeah it changed, and got a lil slower. the funny thing is these people who cry about it being slow amuse me. since you were a collector dont you think its safe to say that a lot of things you got would sit on the shelf for a bit before ever getting to them? to me if it takes a month to get something who really cares if i get it at a great price? anything im really dying to see i probably own already. most of those things are things people have seen already, so probably not a dire thing to get it within a week. just my 2 cents.
