Using amazon GC balance to pay for laptop on lenovo USA...Possible (Amazon checkout) ?

rak007 5,591 622 May 31, 2012 at 11:30 AM
I intend to buy a laptop from Lenovo USA website (after configuring to my needs) and i see that there is an option of amazon checkout (or whatever it is called). I want to know that say i buy a 1000 $ laptop from lenovo USA and make payment using amazon checkout then can i use my GC balance (assume i have more than 1000 $ in GC balance) ?
Is this possible ?

I don't think so, the Amazon checkout is just a process for them to use Amazons system to handle your customer info. You would need to buy from Amazon to get your credit working right.

You could give it a try and stop at the last page, it should show you if it is being used.

I agree with Somesort... when I tried to use the amazon checkout for the Humble Indie Bundle software thing a while back it wouldn't let me use Amazon credit.

I don't know for sure that it's not vendor specific though
