An odd lens combo, but, if you're gonna get something that covers your wider focal length, its a good deal

A great lens combo the 50 1.8 is one of the most essential lenses canon produces and a must have for low lighting I use almost all the time with my 7d

Wierd combo. I guess people will have to buy something lens in 15 to 18mm and greater focal length lenses to complement these 2 lenses. 50mm prime and 55-50mm zoom are not just wide or practical enough by any means on crop sensor for most people.

Best I could find assembling separately from reputable retailers, all happen to be FS and no tax....$1091.

So, just shy of a $100 savings here, plus a lot less hassle, assuming you want this specific combo.

Even dismantling and selling components will net you down to about 700 so thumbs up but 55250 is a hell of a lens keep it if you get this

60D uses the sensor in the T2i.

If you are a begineer, save some money and get the T2i (currently on clearance in Target for $500). With the money saved buy a good lens. This package with the plastic 50mm 1.8 lens is not worth it. Get the 50mm F1.4 lens. There are too many reviews stating the 50mm 1,8 gets stuck to the camera and you have to break it to get it off. Camera body changes very often but the lens can last a long time so it is to buy a good lens..

Amazing how sooo many people will buy a good body, and then buy a crap lens.
It should be the other way around, but a great lens and a crap body and your pictures will be better, and the lens will not depreciate much because good glass (2.8 or lower) does not !!!
Fast lenses are better than fast women, they never get old !
