What did 911 really accomplish for the terrorists?

i was thinking about this today

Sure they killed 3000 people but all the US did was just go over and bomb the hell out of there supporters and now they all have to live in caves and look over there shoulders the rest of there lives.

Seems to me all they did was just piss off a nation who for the most part was content with leaving them alone and basically got all there followers killed or captured

They got us to squander $Ts that we don't have on military expenditures which produce very little beyond immediate economic activity.

Probably hastened the transition of Western domination to Eastern domination, though that was really put in motion by free trade policies which were initiated mainly by Reagan.

Oh well, better than war with them (China), I guess.

This. Also, they prove once and for all that American and the Western world isn't invincible. Sure they got decimated as the result, but they also lead the way for future terrorists who used to think they can't damage us directly.

If Al CIAda, really was decimated why are we still in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, etc etc etc...

Can anyone please prove what Osama Bin Laden actually physically DID instead of yap yap about how America is bad...that got him on the terror wanted death list?

The question you should ask is what did 9/11 accomplish for the US gov't aka Big Brother?

But I am still waiting for a answer that since we so "decimated" all these terrorists, why are we still stuck at the following countries: Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia

And again please link to prove what OBL actually physically did that made him a terrorist, because from everything every posted about OBL, he was more of a instigator then a bon-fide terrorist

I have not seen any terrorists or groups or terrorist supporting countries celebrating every 9/11 as their accomplishment over America

However WE celebrated OBL death on his first anniversary and probably every year after, with Obama give props to himself on tv too..

Of the countries you list, we're only in Afghanistan (other than a base or two). What the hell are you smoking?

Do you really believe that? Try studying a little bit of our history and you will soon realize how much we have f**ked with the ME. Fun stuff like over throwing a democracy and replacing with a dictator, supporting brutal dictators as long as they keep the oil flowing, etc. But I guess you believe that "they hate us for our freedom".
